Cold asphalt, a new Vitali specialty
Vitali S.p.A., for road works, uses cold asphalt laying as well, which is different from classic hot laying due to its application method.

This is a cold bituminous conglomerate, an amalgam of grit and binder, effectively added to facilitate its laying and plasticity, all exclusively cold.
Its ductility is particularly useful for road surfaces rehabilitation, to resolve some critical issues that could be detrimental to road grip or safety.
Cold asphalt is ideal not only for filling potholes but also to resolve any critical road problems. Its specific composition and ductility makes it more suitable for road repair works than the construction of an entire road surface, where hot asphalt is preferred due to its incomparable resistance.

Being easy to apply makes it possible to lay cold asphalt in a very short time and with reduced costs, thanks above all to the excellent product workability.
The laying phase is very simple, consisting in laying the cold asphalt and subsequent compaction.
Compaction can be carried out by the normal flow of road traffic or by using rollers; in some cases, if necessary, it is done with an additional sealing layer of sand or lime to speed up hardening.

Vitali S.p.A., thanks to its long experience in the sector, uses and selects the best cold bitumen available on the market, to ensure successful and long-lasting works.
The quality of our works and customer satisfaction has always been our main objective, which is why we use the best machinery and the best raw materials available, such as our cold asphalt.
